SATD is among the participants of the GovTech Lab Ukraine program as the initiator of the challenge on data-driven tourism management

Within this track, together with technological teams, SATD is working on finding digital approaches that will help more effectively collect, analyze, and use tourism data to form management decisions, as well as increase budget revenues for communities from tourism.

GovTech Lab Ukraine is Ukraine’s first open innovation program that brings together state institutions and startups to work jointly on digital solutions for public services.

This year, within the program, solutions are being developed for three public sector challenges: automation of legal aid for citizens, transparent solutions in the field of urban planning, and data-driven tourism management.

As part of the open competition, GovTech Lab Ukraine received 69 applications from 18 countries. Based on the results of expert evaluation and due diligence, 7 startups were selected for further participation in the program.

Currently, SATD is cooperating with the selected startups and mentors within the Innovation Bootcamp, where participants work through the challenge together, test hypotheses, and form concepts for digital solutions that can be proposed for piloting.

The conclusion of this stage will be Demo Day in February 2026, based on the results of which three projects will be selected with funding of up to 100,000 euros for further implementation and scaling.

GovTech Lab Ukraine is an open innovation program in the field of government technology, implemented by the Global Government Technology Centre Kyiv (GGTC), with the facilitation of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the World Economic Forum, and with the support of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program, implemented by the East Europe Foundation.
